began in
Lima, Peru... My 3rd birthday was in Havana... They had sent
me from
Argentina to Cuba for the first time... I spoke with an
Argentinean
accent, and the family and the neighbors ...
would not understand certain
words... a year later...
then
I spoke "Cuban."
