SUBJECT: LETTER FROM ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE
Reference is made to the attached letter from the Attorney General's
Office in which Mr. E. MC COLLUM advised SHERIFF KELLY about suspicious
activities taking place at a residence located at 7781 S. W. 32nd
Street.
On December 20, 1960, Agent A. L. TARABOCHIA contacted the tenants of the residence in order to verify the information.
The residence was bought about three months ago by LUIS AGUILAR LEON, a
Cuban national who is one of the leaders of the Movement of
Revolutionary Recuparation (M.R.R.). The M.R.R. is an anti-Castro
organization and active in sabotage operations in Cuba.
AGUILAR'S group is a splinter party of the M.R.R. headed by Dr. MANUEL
F. ARTIME BUESA, which is adherent to the F.R.D. (Frente Revolucionario
Democratico). The two groups split because of personal
differences between ARTIME BUESA and AQUILAR LEON.
The meetings that take place in AGUILAR'S house are positively of non-Communist nature.
