FROM: Sgt. E. Kay
Intelligence Unit

DATE: Feb. 13,  1967

SUBJECT: Assassination of Pres. Kennedy
(tape)

REFERENCES: [none]

ENCLOSURES: [none]
-----------------------------------

On Friday, Feb. 10, 1967 Det. Linbaugh and Sgt. Langford and a reporter Mr. Hart of the Birmingham Newspaper, came to this office, and requested to listen to the tape we had made on the talk of assassination of President Kennedy on Nov. 9, 1963.  They were mainly interested in this tape as to the remarks made by Joe Milteer to informant 88 in regards to a "Jack Brown" of Chattanooga, Tenn. connected with the Natl. KKK, where insinuations were made that Brown may have been responsible for the blowing up of the Church in Birmingham, Ala. where several children were killed.

The above named detectives took notes and then departed.
No copies of this tape were made.
